My Counseling Experience // July 2022

Hello friends! In my last post I mentioned about me being able to counsel at my church camp! I couldn't leave you guys hanging, and I wanted to write about my experience. Out of the 5 weeks of summer we have church camp, the week I counseled (pioneer week) was only 3 days, July 6-8. And thank goodness it was only 3 days. I was exhausted! It was very fun, and I'm excited to share my experience!  To start it off, my cabin was beautifully decorated by the head counselor of the cabin, Erika! Erika and Karlie are the two Godly ladies I got to counsel and bond with in our cabin.  We had 13 young girls (aged from entering grade 2nd, 3rd, or 4th) in our cabin that was named 'Moss' since the camp was created in mid 1900's. Throughout the week, I bonded with a lot of the girls, and the girls made new friends. I didn't know any of the girls that were in my cabin, and I felt truly blessed! It was hard to learn all of their names, but by the end of the week, their names wer

H ey y'all! Long time no see! another life update *laughs out loud*  A few change of plans... I decided NOT to play summer softball! My summer has already been busy and I just don't have enough time to be on another softball team. I am going to stick to volleyball (optional) practices through the summer to be ready to play when school starts back up!  A few things that happened so far..  I celebrated my 14th birthday! I celebrated by having a party with family and close friends. My mom and I also took an overnight trip to go shopping and have some bonding time. It was a great two days!  One of my close friends (basically like an older sister that took me under her wing the past 6 years) got married! I am so happy for her and wish her the best marriage!   This past week, June 20-24, I spent at my church summer camp. And man, did God work miracles there! I will try to make a separate post of some of the things that stuck out to me, and what I want to share with others. Our them

what i eat in a day

happy april! i thought i would start off the month with what i eat in a day!  i am not much of a breakfast person.. sometimes when i eat breakfast i get a really bad stomach ache, but the same thing happens when i don't eat! (any tips?) but todayyy i had an english muffin with our homemade raspberry jelly around 930!  for lunch we had THM (trim healthy mama) loaded broccoli soup! it was delish! then i also had some guacamole with tortilla chips, and i had some extra quac so i made sweet potato avocado toast.. but instead of just avocado i used my leftover guacamole!  for my afternoon snack around 3, i made a strawberry lemonade smoothie with spinach!  frozen strawberries  lemon juice honey water spinach  that simple!  for dinner after softball practice i had some steak, hand-picked cooked oyster mushrooms, and baked kale "chips".  for "desert" i had a peanut butter protein bar!

hello friends! i am so sorry i haven't posted in a few weeks, i've gotten sick a few times, and have been very busy in life! i have also been struggling to make blog posts! i don't know what to make them of! i have really been slacking on doing my bullet journal so i can really post of that... so my friend (shoutout:  grace @ beyond the pages ) and i came up with an idea for this post! i'm not going to waste any more time and just hop into it!  so the question is: why did you start your business?    (oooh just got a great idea, comment any questions you have related to my life or my small business and i will answer them in a post!)  it all started in 2019.. i just started to homeschool and i needed another hobby. my step mom owns her own small baking business so i went to her for this. i wanted to just have an extra hobby and i told my step mom about that. she was like what about a business? she got me a bunch of paper packets on how to start a business as a kid.  the

Sift together confectioners sugar and almond flour, set aside. Beat room temp egg whites and salt together on medium speed for 1 minute. Switch to high speed and bean until stiff peaks form (I would check mixture every 30 seconds so you do not overbeat the egg whites, took my egg whites about 1 minute on high) Gently fold in your sifte

hello everyone!  i am sorry this post is so late, i have been very busy recently, but i really wanted to get a post out this week!  today is going to be a little different than what i normally post. i am going to start a bible study series, (i may have a different name in the future but this is what i have right now) maybe posting once a month, twice a month, or however many times i want. i mentioned starting a series a few posts back but wasn't quite sure how, but God has lead me into sharing His word with you. please please please, feel free to share this post so we can spread the Good News together! i hope to turn this into a great series so drop some study ideas in the comments!  so lets start talking about why i did this; my youth pastor asked me to lead a lesson on sunday for our small group and i had absolutely no idea what i was going to share on. i prayed about it, and thought about it and He lead me to this topic right here: sharing the gospel with non-believers i absol
